‘Forget Love’: Trump Video Goes Willie Horton On Jeb Bush

In an amazing bit of irony, a member of the Bush family has now been subjected to an attack ad showing mugshots of minority criminals — as Donald Trump’s new campaign video, posted on Instagram, features Jeb Bush’s past statement that undocumented immigrants enter the U.S. as “an act of love.”

Reminiscent of the notorious “Willie Horton” ad used by the George H.W. Bush campaign against Democrat Michael Dukakis in 1988, the spot plays back Jeb’s 2014 comment as mugshots flash across the screen.

“Love?” the video sarcastically responds in onscreen text. “Forget love. It’s time to get tough!”

“Trump,” the ad concludes. “Make America Great Again!”

This is no “act of love” as Jeb Bush said…
